Woah! I’m back. It’s been quite a while. I’ve been inspired by a lovely lady by the name of Beth, who I’m lucky enough to have become friends with through the Fisher Theatre in Bungay, where I spend quite a bit of my life. Thank you darling. ❤️
Im going to make an effort to visit my blog each day. My life is on a bit of a turn right now so my new posts won’t be in the same style as the old stuff. It will more likely be about life events. And let’s face it if you know me, you’ll know that there’s plenty going on.
Today I’m preparing food for a funeral wake tomorrow. My dear friend Luci will be saying goodbye to her step father Ollie. A slightly unconventional but lovely send off for him. Funerals don’t need to be stuffy and sad. Morbid, black or in a church. So much more of a celebration of life is the way it should be. There will be tears of love for the lost of course. I’ve been asking to make curry for those returning for the wake. I mustn’t make it too eye watery hot and spicy. 😢💜
I’m Currently in bed having returned there with a Cuppa and my phone. I must contemplate getting up and starting my day. My middle son Campbell is off to Kings Lynn to see the lovely Lizzy (his girlfriend) for a few days. There’s crashing about going on upstairs as he gets his stuff together. My oldest son Dan will be doing his holiday studies I’m sure. He’s hell bent on getting a good grade for his level 3 fine art diploma. And Mitch, the youngest will no doubt be computer gaming and playing his electric guitar. Other events in the half term holiday household will no doubt be the usual domestic chores, dog walking the beautiful Lady Marmalade and, oh yes, Jess my devoted fella will be round to continue with the utility room building project. More cupboards going in today. An exciting new space in our new home.
Its another beautiful sunny October day. The transition from summer to autumn has been amazing.
Im counting my blessings and off to make the most of it.
Its good to be back.
